Brave Belal: The Hero Who Risked His Life to Save a Drowning Fawn

In a world where we often hear stories of cruelty and indifference towards animals, the story of Belal is a refreshing reminder that there are still people who care. Belal, a teenage boy from Noakhali, Bangladesh, has become a hero in his community after he risked his life to save a drowning fawn.

It was during the rainy season when the river in Noakhali overflowed, causing floods in the area. The little fawn was separated from its family and was swept away by the fast-moving water. It was then that Belal, who was nearby, saw the helpless animal struggling in the water and didn’t hesitate to act.

Belal jumped into the water, despite the strong currents and high tide, to rescue the drowning fawn. His act of bravery was captured by a photographer, Hasibul Wahab, who was present at the scene.

Wahab said, “Belal really was a brave boy; the river was already so full with a huge water body and also it was high tide that we were afraid he would drown; my companion was already prepared to jump in to river to save the boy.”

Despite the danger, Belal didn’t hesitate and managed to rescue the fawn. He brought the little animal to safety, and both of them were able to reach the river banks.
